With heavy hearts, we announce that Charles "Bob" Bryenton of Kingston passed away at home, surrounded by family. After a brief-but-hard-fought battle with cancer, Bob left us on Monday, April 22, 2024 at 65 years of age.
He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Marsha Bryenton; his son, Kyle Bryenton; his parents, Ernest and Shirley Bryenton; and his siblings, Karen Gallant and David Bryenton. Bob will be remembered by sibling-in-laws Doug Crosby, Brian Crosby (Janeth), David Crosby (Wendy Doucette), numerous nieces, nephews, and life-long friends.
Bob grew up in Charlottetown, PEI, before serving our country for 30 years in the Royal Canadian Navy and Canadian Coast Guard. Many will remember Bob for his sense of humour, his hospitality—whether it be at the barbeque or the bonfire—his Christmas chili, and his kindness; always willing to lend a hand and help out.
Visitation at the Belvedere Funeral Home will take place on Thursday, April 25th from 5-8 p.m. Service will be held at the Belvedere Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, April 26th at 2 p.m, followed by interment in the Kingston United Church Cemetery.
Memorial donations may be made to the Integrated Palliative Care Program/Home Care (send cheques to 165 John Yeo Drive, Suite 201, Charlottetown PE C1E 3J3) and the QEH Foundation (PEI Cancer Treatment Centre).
