James Daniel (Dan) Steele

The death occurred on Tuesday, April 23rd, 2024 of James Daniel (Dan) Steele of Cornwall, age 56 years. Dan was born on November 20, 1967 to Esther (Gallant) and the late Richard Steele.

Dan was the beloved father of Michael Steele and brother of Blair (Lorielee) and Catherine (Kerry) Avery. Dan will be dearly missed by his niece, Brittany Steele, and nephews, Brandon Steele and Jack Avery, as well as many friends.  He is survived by Michael’s mother, Loretta and was predeceased by his brother, Gordon.

Resting at Belvedere Funeral Home where a visitation will take place on Sunday, April 28th from 2:00 till 5:00 p.m. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Monday, April 29th at 2:00 p.m. Donations in memory of Dan may be made to Parkinson Canada or to an education fund for his son Michael (please make cheques payable to Blair Steele or e-transfer to loretta_d@hotmail.com).
