Funeral Director Assistant
Administrative Assistant
Natalie joined the Belvedere team in the summer of 2023
after spending the previous 11 years working with the Faculty of Medicine at
Dalhousie University as an Operations Manager in New Brunswick. After so many
years being surrounded by people pursuing their passions, Natalie came to
realize a career change where she can be of greater service to the community
would be a great next step.
After high school, she pursued a career in travel and
tourism, leading her to a wonderful 13 year career with Wyndham Worldwide.
During this time she was able to learn about different cultures, how to adapt
in an everchanging situation and how leading with compassion and love brings
most situations to a peaceful end.
Family is at the center of most things she loves. Her
daughter Kahlan and husband Jamie bring her great joy in life. Together they
love to travel, eat great food and find laughter in everything.
Now settled in Charlottetown where she enjoys her hobbies
including travel, reading and finding new ways to be creative.
Therapy Dog in Training
Say hello to
Finnigan! Finnigan is a six-year-old English Black Labrador Retriever who was
born and raised on Prince Edward Island. Both of his parents work at Belvedere
Funeral Home, and he loves going to work each day with them to greet all of the
people who come through our doors. Finnigan has been working at becoming
Belvedere Funeral Home’s comfort dog in training. He first joined us at the
funeral home in the fall of 2022, visiting once or twice a week and now is at
the funeral home most days. He has a very calm disposition and an innate
ability to put families at ease. The hope is for Finnigan to be tested through
Therapeutic Paws of Canada and receive his certification as a comfort dog.
When
Finnigan is not at work, he enjoys going on adventures in the woods, camping,
bonfires, sleeping in front of the fire at home, watching his dad barbeque, and
hanging out with his young two-legged cousins, Maverick and Sawyer. Finnigan
also has a feline sister at home named Saoirse who he keeps a safe distance
from most days.
We are very
pleased to have Finnigan at Belvedere Funeral Home and acknowledge the valuable
contribution that he makes to not only supporting those who come through our
doors, but to the support he provides to the team at Belvedere Funeral Home on daily
basis.
