Alana Marie (Power) MacFadyen

It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Alana Marie MacFadyen (Power) on Saturday September 9th (age 49). Alana passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones. A kind soul with a gentle nature; Alana touched the hearts of everyone that crossed her path. A passionate mother to Kayla and Connor and nurturing wife to Corey.  

In addition to her husband and children she is survived by her parents Charlie and Josephine (Lacey) Power, brother Nathan Power (Nancy), sisters Kellie Arsenault (Kevin) and Bobbi-Jo Power (Scott MacKenzie), mother-in-law Jessie MacFayden, sisters-in-law Amanda MacFayden (Daniel MacKinnon) and Charmayne MacFadyen, nieces and nephews Cameron, Charleigh, Natasha, Parker, Evan, Aiden, Shelby, Sarah Beth, Valicia, Sophie, Zachary, Kane and Jay, her canine companion Clyde and many friends. She was predeceased by her father-in-law Neil MacFadyen and brother-in-law Christopher MacFayden.  

Resting at Belvedere Funeral Home, with visitation on Monday, September 11 from 4 -7 p.m. Her funeral service will be held from Belvedere Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday, September 12 at 3 p.m. Interment will follow in Mount Ryan Hill Roman Catholic Cemetery. Flowers are very welcome. Donations can be made at the funeral home for an education fund for Connor and Kayla.

Though she will be missed greatly by family and friends, we know a piece of her spirit will live on in the many hearts she touched.
