Alden Stanley Ford

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Alden Stanley Ford of Winsloe, formerly of Ebenezer, on Thursday, November 13, 2025, surrounded by family at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital. He was a devoted and loving husband to Phyllis, caring and dedicated father/father-in-law to Kent (Charlotte), Janice (Greg), Darren (Deborah) and Grampy to Harris, Alex (Jacinda), James, Josh, Thomas (Karlyn), Rebecca, Emily, Elisabeth (Aidan) & proud Great-Grampy to Jack.  Special Uncle to Jennifer (Arthur) & Grampy to Rachel. He will be remembered by sister-in-law Gail Keen & brothers-in-law Graham Brown & Ron (Deb) Stewart, treasured by numerous nieces & nephews, cousins & friends.

Predeceased by his parents Betty (MacLean) & Melvin Ford and big brother Erroll & Beryl (Buchanan) Ford, parents-in-law George and Elsie (MacKay) Stewart and in-laws John & Joyce Murrant, Helen Brown, Ron Keen.

Alden & Phyllis were blessed with 63 wonderful years of marriage & created special times together with friends & family, of which he was most proud.  Alden enjoyed reminiscing & telling stories about the many memories that were made along the way.

He always had the ability to make people smile & feel welcome & cared for.  His charm, generosity & unwavering love and support will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Resting at Belvedere Funeral Home where a visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 18th from 4-7 p.m.  A funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Wednesday, November 19th at 11:30 a.m. This funeral service will be livestreamed via the following link Livestream. If you have difficulty accessing the livestream, please call 1-877-895-2739. Following the funeral service, a reception will then be held in the Belvedere Funeral Home Reception Centre. Following the reception, interment will take place in Winsloe North Cemetery.   If so desired, memorial donations may be made to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Foundation.
