Surrounded by the love of her family and with an appreciation for a life well lived, the death of Anne Marie Crawford (nee Murphy) occurred on March 18, 2026 at the Prince Edward Home at the age of 70 years.
Anne was born on August 2, 1955 to the late Geraldine (nee Gavin) and Wilbert Murphy.
Anne will be dearly missed by her adoring husband, Jim, of 48 years and her loving children, Michael (Crystal) and Lori (Andrew) Hilchey.
She leaves behind her beloved grandchildren, Gavin, Colin, and Nicholas Hilchey.
Anne is survived by her siblings, Preston (Helen) Murphy, Ronnie Murphy, Patsy Praught (Stuart Caseley), and Jean Rafferty, and sister-in-law, Judy Murphy. Anne was predeceased by her brother Willard.
Resting at Belvedere Funeral Home where a visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 24 from 4-7 p.m. A funeral mass will be held at St. Francis of Assisi in Cornwall on Wednesday, March 25 at 10:30 a.m.
Interment will take place at a later date in the Appin Road Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Anne may be made to Gifts From the Heart, the Salvation Army or The Charlottetown Food Bank.
Anne's family would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to the staff of the Prince Edward Home, with special gratitude for the staff of Valour Hall. The wonderful care and constant kindness and support shown to Anne and her family throughout her time there was a true blessing.
