Anne Marie (Mulhern) Butler

It is with great sadness that the family of Anne Marie Butler of Cornwall, PE, announce her peaceful passing at Whisperwood Villa on Saturday, September 27, 2025. Born in Grand Falls, NB on November 25, 1943, she was the daughter of the late Gerald and Mary (Higgins) Mulhern. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her sisters Joan Mulhern and Carolyn Nickson (Bill, also deceased), as well as a brother in infancy.

Survived by her husband of 60 years Ronald “Ron”, along with her sons Michael (Lisa) and Peter (Shelley); daughters Alisa Cook (Dave), Rhonda MacPherson (Ted), and Heather. Cherished grandchildren are Nicholas “Nick”, Rebecca “Reb”, Alexander “Alex”, Kira (Joey), Malory (Paolo), Joshua (Rebecca) and Karlie (An); great grandchildren Hunter, Rory, Hayden, Violet “Vi”, Quinn, William, Norah, Cohen, Penelope and Olivia. Missing her also will be her feline companion, Zuzu. She leaves behind many extended family members in New Brunswick, and was especially close to her cousin Donnie Hiland of St. Stephen, NB.  Also left to mourn are Ron’s sibling Nina (Norm) Bourque of Moncton, NB, and their extended families, as well as those of his late sister Pat (Dave) Daigle.

In keeping with her wishes there will be no visitation or funeral service. A private family interment will take place in St. Martin of Tours & St. Francis of Assisi Cemetery, Cumberland, PE at a later date.  The family would like to thank everyone who assisted Anne Marie at the QEH ER, and Unit 2, as well as the staff, residents and friends who befriended and cared for her while staying at Whisperwood Villa.
