The death occurred peacefully at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on November 23, 2024 of Barry Millar Stevenson, age 92. Formally from New Glasgow, PEI. Loving husband of 67 years to Joyce Stevenson (Stewart).
Survived by his loving children Dwayne (Karen), Mark, Troy (Holly), special niece Shirley (David) Essery, Grandchildren Emilie (Lance) MacNeill, Hana (Nevin) Doiron, Alena, Emma, Carter, Mila; great grandchildren Hansen, Millie, Lainey. Siblings Betty (Lenny) Gunn, Marilyn (Ron) Ross, Pat (Earl) Murphy.
Pre-deceased by their loving son Corey, infant daughter Alana Gail, siblings Erroll (Lorraine), David (Bonnie).
Barry was an Army Vet who served in the Korean War from 1950-1953. Lifetime member of the Parkdale Sherwood Lions Club. Former member of the "Senate" at St. Peters Road Tim Hortons. Proud fan of the Toronto Maple Leafs.
The family would like to express gratitude to Dr. O'Morain, Jocelyn Dougan (NP) and the team at Gulf Shore Health Center, staff on Units 1 and 3, Palliative Care Team, Pastoral Care.
