The death occurred peacefully at the Moncton City Hospital on Tuesday January 21, 2025 of Beulah Margaret Watts, age 83 years. Predeceased by her husband, Harry and her parents, Charles and Frances (King). Left to cherish her memory are her four children Donald (Maureen), George (Leah-deceased), Marilyn Walker (Darryl-deceased), and Marsha Cusack (Paul).
She was blessed to have 9 loving grandchildren Daniel (Christina), Stephen, and Jessica Adams (Jon); Laura Fall (Jeremy) and Jonathan; Ryan (Kaylee) Walker and Emily MacIntyre (Chance); Luke and Clare Cusack. Special great grandmother to Lochlan and Cassia; Brantley Fall; Garrett and Marina Walker; Ellie and Vincent MacIntyre.
She will be lovingly remembered by many wonderful friends and extended family. Beulah loved to enjoy a game of cards, a cup of tea and her knitting. She is well known as a fantastic baker and always welcomed guests with a plate of sweets or home made bread. She was an active community member in Grand Tracadie where she spent her entire life. She was very active in the Pleasant Grove United Church, especially as the organist and in helping to organize many lobster suppers, auctions, and mussel bakes. Special thank you for the great care by Island EMS, the staff of the QEH Emergency Department and Unit 1 and staff of the Moncton City hospital orthopedic unit, hematology department and palliative care unit.
Her funeral service will be held from Belvedere Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, January 25 at 1:00 p.m. Following her funeral service, we invite family and friends to drop in to celebrate a life well lived in the reception center from 2-4 PM. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the West Covehead Cemetery Fund.
