With heavy hearts, the family of Beverly Ann (Carr) Oehlke, loving wife of William “Bill” Oehlke, announces her passing on Thursday, June 25, 2026, with her family at her side. 

Born in Charlottetown, PE on March 16, 1951, she was the daughter of the late John Percy and Kathleen Ruth (Monaghan) Carr. 

In addition to her husband of 55 years, Bill, she is survived by her children Aaron Oehlke (Christine), Lindsay Oehlke, Caleigh Oehlke and Ryan Oehlke (Vanessa); grandchildren Bradin, Caleb, Kinley, Anderson, Presley, Everly and Aria; sister Jackie Roop; extended Oehlke family and many friends. 

Bev loved PEI beach days and enjoyed many Cuban vacations. She had a zest for life and lived well on her own terms. She was rarely without an opinion and always had a good story to tell, especially to rally a laugh.

She had an affinity with animals, and was a devoted wife, mother, nanny, sister, and friend. She was known to be welcoming and inclusive, and her generous nature provided for so many over the years. She loved to give.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Belvedere Funeral Home. A private graveside service will take place at a later date. For those who wish, donations in her memory may be made to a charity of choice.
