It is with deep sadness that we share the passing of Cameron McAskill, who died suddenly on December 13, 2025, at the age of 38.
Cameron was a devoted husband and father whose greatest joy was his children, whom he will love forever. Gentle and tender-hearted, with a curious and insightful mind, he was a soul who felt deeply. Cameron knew both light and hardship and faced life with quiet courage. He will be remembered for his kindness, his intelligence, and his caring nature.
Cameron leaves behind a legacy of love and will be dearly missed by his wife, Mary Beth, and their sons, Ben and James.
He was predeceased by his father, Joe McAskill, and is now at peace in his presence. He is lovingly remembered by his mother, Trudi; his sister, Karalee; his brothers, Chris and Stephen Comeau; his many aunts, uncles, and extended family; and his in-laws, David and Maureen Larter, Jessica (Craig) Foster, and Maria (Jeff) Harris, all of whom loved him dearly.
Cameron was a fun-loving uncle who will be sadly missed by his special nieces and nephews: Charlotte, Violet, Jake, Regan, Emma, Ruby, Kate, Grace, Kaija Joe, and Quinton. He was also a loyal friend and will be missed by the close friends who had known him since childhood.
