Catherine "Kay" Alice (MacDonald) MacArthur

Catherine (Kay) Alice (MacDonald) MacArthur, wife of the late Scott MacArthur, passed peacefully on Wednesday, September 10, 2025, at Whisperwood Villa. Born in Murray River, PE on March 7, 1930, she was the daughter of the late Alexander and Freda (MacLeod) MacDonald. In addition to her husband and parents she was predeceased by her siblings and their spouses Mary MacDonald, Fred MacDonald, Samuel Maynard MacDonald and Laurie MacDonald.

She is survived by her sister-in-law Letha Mae MacDonald; many cousins, nieces and nephews including cousin Florence MacTavish (Barry), niece Carolyn MacArthur.

The family would like to thank all those at Whisperwood for their many years of wonderful care given to Kay.  

Resting at Belvedere Funeral Home, from where her funeral service will be held on Monday, September 15 at 2 p.m. with visitation one hour prior. Interment will follow in Marshfield Community Cemetery. For those who wish, donations may be made to the PEI Cancer Treatment Center.
