Cecil William (Bill) Smith

Peacefully at the Atlantic Baptist Nursing Home in Charlottetown of Cecil William (Bill) Smith, formerly of Amherst, NS, aged 88. Survived by wife Joan (Murray), daughter Jocelyne Lloyd (Simon) and granddaughters Grace and Charlotte Lloyd, all of Charlottetown. Survived by brother-in-law Byron Murray (Kay), sister-in-law Carol, and several nieces and nephews.

Born in Springhill, NS, to the late Jack and Carolyn (Newman) Smith. Predeceased by an infant son, brother Newman and sister Ruth.

A great lover of nature, hunting and fishing, Bill was a longtime member of Trinity-St. Stephen’s Church in Amherst and was retired from IMP.

The family acknowledges the kind support of the staff at Atlantic Baptist.

Entrusted to Belvedere Funeral Home. No funeral or visitation by personal request. Graveside service at a later date in Southampton, NS.
