It is with broken hearts, the family of David Victor Murphy, announces his sudden passing, which occurred on Saturday, May 31, 2025. Born in Chatham, NB on March 25, 1984 he is the son of Roger and Ida (Theriault) Murphy.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his children, Finley Murphy (Sylas Keough) and Finley’s mother Jennifer Burke (Douglas), and Marlee Murphy; siblings, Evelyn Murphy, Kilian Murphy, and Mark Murphy; nephew, Kai McMurray; girlfriend, Lisa-Marie McAskill; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was predeceased by his grandparents, John and Lillian (Whelton) Murphy and Edmund and Eva Theriault; aunt, Kathy Mazerolle and uncles, Brian Murphy and Sylvio Theriault.
Victor was a welder by trade and created many artistic items. He loved to work on cars, play the guitar and spending time with his family and friends.
Resting at Belvedere Funeral Home, from where his funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 7 at 10:30 a.m. Burial will take place at a later date in Grand Anse, NB.
