Donald Earl Watson

The death of Donald Earl Watson of Charlottetown, PEI occurred on June 9, 2026. He was born on April 17, 1948, in Parry Sound, Ontario. He grew up in Parry Sound, graduating from High School in 1967. Donald’s career saw him working for the Ontario government.

Donald enjoyed travel to Cuba, Newfoundland and PEI. In 2008, he built a home in Stanhope, PEI and later moved to York, PEI. Donald was a man of faith and that sustained him as an important part of his life.

Donald was the beloved son of Earl (Red) Watson and Lorna Watson of Parry Sound, Ontario. Both of his parents predeceased him.

Visiting hours will be held at Belvedere Funeral Home on Wednesday, June 10th, 2026 from 4:00 to 7:00 pm. The funeral service for Donald Watson will be held at Spring Park United Church in Charlottetown, on Thursday, June 11, 2026, at 10:00 am. The funeral service will be livestreamed on the Spring Park United Church YouTube page. Burial will be in Midhurst, Ontario at a later date.
