Donna Jean (D.J.) Walling Obituary

Donna Jean (D.J.) Walling of Charlottetown, medically retired from R.B.C., passed away on Wednesday, February 19th, 2025 at the Cancer Treatment Centre, under the care of the amazing M.A.I.D. team.

Born on March 2, 1960 in Whitehorse, YT to Joan (McInnis) and Dick Walling, both deceased.

Survived by Tamara, my (step) daughter of Glace Bay, N.S. and a great group of friends, including my McInnis cousins. The last two plus years were full of many giggles, hugs, adventures and very special times. It meant so much to me, especially because my friends didn’t know my leukemia had returned.

A proud U.P.E.I. panther as a Class of 1982 graduate. My mom asked me while I was attending U.P.E.I., if I was getting a degree in beer drinking, hearts and backgammon or a B.B.A.?

A Celebration of Life will be held at Belvedere Funeral Home Reception Centre on Saturday, July 5 at 1 p.m.
