Obituary
Peacefully on September 12 Dorothy (Dot) Buchanan passed away at the Atlantic Baptist Home, Charlottetown.
Those who knew Dot will remember her resourcefulness in the kitchen as her place was the gathering point of all her family and friends. Those who she fed will miss her baking and will remember that hers was a house you did not leave hungry.
She will be lovingly missed by her daughters Sandra and Jean, stepchildren Susan, Morgan & Ronnie. Her grandchildren Richard, Jeff, Clara-Lynn, Cheryl, Michael, Amanda, and Charles, her sisters Marion, Prudence, Linda and Helen and her extended family and of course all her friends. Dot was predeceased by her stepson George, her granddaughter Kimberly, and many brothers, sisters, nieces, and nephews.
Dot is resting at Belvedere Funeral Home where a service will be held Monday September 18th at 1:30 pm with a reception to follow at the funeral home reception center. The service will be live streamed, please join by following this link: LiveStream
Interment in the West River United Church Cemetery will follow the reception. Donations in Dots memory can be made to the West River United Church Cemetery Fund.
