Douglas Arthur Gallant

It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Douglas Arthur Gallant, formerly of North Rustico, at the QEH, Charlottetown, P.E.I. on Sept. 23, 2025.

Doug was 81 years of age and loving husband of 58 years to Catherine Anne (Sweeney) and father of Corinne, Jeff (Heather), Janice (Gerald), Kevin, Mike (Jackie) and Erin. His grandchildren, Jacob (Nora), Sam, Emma, Julia, Sophia and great grandchild, Peyton.

Predeceased by his parents Alyre & Maude Gallant, his sister Gertrude (Armand) LeClair, and brothers Buddy (Anne) Gallant, Basil (Jackie) Gallant. Survived by Oswald (Marian) Gallant, Geri (Gerard-deceased) Gauthier, Harold (Cathy-deceased) Gallant, Michael (Pat) Gallant, Dennis (Sue) Gallant, Joanne (Roland) Gallant and Garnett Gallant and many loving nieces and nephews.

Visitation at Belvedere Funeral Home Friday, September 26th from 3-6pm.  Funeral Belvedere Funeral Home Saturday Sept. 27, 2025 at 10:00 am, interment at the Sherwood Cemetery, 355 Sherwood Rd. Charlottetown.  A celebration of life will follow the grave service at the Belvedere Funeral Home. All Welcome!
