Earl Joseph Savidant, age 93, passed away peacefully on Monday, March 10th, 2025 at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Charlottetown PEI.  He was born on September 10th, 1931 to Francis and Alice (Mckinnon) Savidant. Earl is survived by his loving wife of 70 years, Betty (Henderson); his two sons, Earl Jr. (Leslie) and Ronnie; grandchildren, Matthew, Kayla and Carson; and his sisters, Jeannie, Joyce and Shirley. Earl was predeceased by his parents and seven other brothers and sisters including, Gertrude Savidant, Frances Arsenault, Marie MacEachern, Rose Tinneberg, Louis Savidant, Bill Savidant, and Eddie Savidant.

Earl loved cars and started working on them at the early age of ten, leading him to owning his own garage for 45 years. He also enjoyed anything with wheels including his passion for bicycles in his later years, riding throughout Charlottetown and PEI until his early 90’s.  He took great joy in raising his two boys with Betty, and spending time with his grandkids. He will be greatly missed and fondly remembered by all who knew him.

No formal service will be held upon Earl’s request.

A graveside internment for family will take place in the spring.
