Edward Murray

It is with heavy hearts the family of Edward Murray announces his passing which occurred on Monday, June 17, 2024, at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, with his family at his side.

Born in Brackley Beach, PE on June 12, 1937, he was the son of the late Gordon and May (Hurst) Murray. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by beloved wife Norma Jane (Hyde) Murray, sons Rickey and Gordie, siblings Stanley Murray (Elsie), Hilda Sellick (Raymond), Margaret Hurry (Eric), Blythe Murray (Phyllis), Brad Murray (Isabel), Archibald Murray (Beverly), Alex Murray (Joyce), Susie Wood (Lorne) and Dorothy Ramsay; and in-laws Laura Lund (Ollie), and Ambrose Hyde (Faye).

He is survived by his daughter Tracy Cullen (David), son Troy Murray (Charlotte); grandchildren Samantha, Ashley, Ethan and Halle, brother-in-law to Shirley Murray (Alfred, dec), Katherine Murray (Lorne, dec), Robert MacKay (Rena, dec.); Alfred Sherren (Mary, dec.), Jack Hyde, and James Hyde (Ann); and many nieces and nephews.

Resting at Belvedere Funeral Home, where visitation will take place on Wednesday, June 19, 2024 from 10:00 until 11:30 a.m. The funeral service will follow in the funeral home chapel on Wednesday, June 19, 2024, at 11:30 a.m. For those unable to attend in person, a live stream of the service is available by following this link: Remembering Edward
