It is with heavy hearts, and an appreciation for a life well lived, that the family of Eleanor Olive Robinson, beloved wife of Gerald Robinson, announces her passing which occurred at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Monday, September 9th, 2024 at the age of 88 years.
Born in Winsloe, PE on June 2, 1936, she was the daughter of the late Earl and Dora (Pridham) Rodd, and stepdaughter to the late, Helen Scott.
Eleanor is survived by her son, Gary (Shelley); grandchildren, Erin, Sarah (Benji Read), Matthew (Jacklyn), Michael (Bethany), and Patrick; brother, Blythe Rodd (Alice): sister, Veda Duvar; daughter-in-law, Jocelyn Robinson; son-in-law, Leo Hayes; as well as nine great-grandchildren and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In addition to her parents and stepmother, Eleanor was predeceased by her son, Dale; daughter, Faye Hayes; brother-in-law, Eric Duvar; and granddaughter, Cassandra.
Resting at Belvedere Funeral Home where a visitation will take place on Thursday, September 12th from 4-7 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Friday, September 13th at 2 p.m. at Winsloe United Church. Interment will take place in West Covehead Cemetery.
