Betty was a dedicated music teacher for over 40 years, both in the public school system and privately. She was affectionately known as “Mrs. Gay” by her many students. She took great joy in teaching piano and voice lessons and in directing Christmas choirs, where her passion for music and nurturing spirit truly shone. She was a devoted member of Park Royal United Church, where she served as an elder and choir member, and was a member of the board of the PEI Symphony Orchestra.
Betty had a vibrant personality and an eye for beauty, which she expressed in her sparkling accessories, gardens and through the music she cherished.
The family wishes to thank the Atlantic Baptist staff for their care.
