Elizabeth (Liz) Ann Kelly-Gaudet

It is with heavy hearts, the family of Elizabeth “Liz” Ann Kelly-Gaudet, loving wife of Robert Gaudet, announces her passing which occurred on Monday, June 30, 2025 at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital. Born in Charlottetown, PE on October 27, 1961, she was the daughter of the late Cecil and Grace (McNally) Kelly. In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her siblings David Kelly and Mary Lannigan and feline companion Cuddles.

In addition to her husband Robert, she is survived by her children Nick Gaudet (Josie) and Lyndsay Gaudet (Connor); step children Marcy Gaudet (Chris Stordy), Lorri Nicolle (Travis) and Julie Gaudet; grandchildren Georgia, Jill, Isabelle, Dane, Faith and Bradley; brother-in-law Roger Boutillier; sister-in-law Janie Kelly; nieces and nephews Shawna, Crystal, Steven, Tracey, Tammy, Rudy, Logan and Kyle; cousins Mary, Susan, Raymond, Marion, Brenda and Rose; special friends Janet Higgins, Elaine Harvey, Rose Clinton, JJ, Lynn Robinson, Debby Denhan, Sharon Lannigan and James Dotten; and her feline companions Blackie, Moses and Maisie.; and many friends at the Charlottetown Harley Club and Commando of Charlottetown.

Liz enjoyed life to the fullest. She loved going on road trips, traveling, shopping, listening to music, dancing, spending time with her family and her cats. Liz and Robert loved to travel together visiting new places and visiting Celebrity graves.

The family would like to thank Unit 1 at the QEH and nurse Sylvie who took great care of Liz.

Resting at Belvedere Funeral Home, where visitation will be held on Monday, July 14 from 4-7 pm. Funeral mass will be celebrated from St. Pius X Church on Tuesday, July 15 at 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow in St. Patrick’s Catholic Cemetery, Fort Augustus. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the PEI Humane Society.
