Evelyn Patrica Murray died at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital  in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island on February 13, 2025. She was born on April 10, 1920 to the late James and Annie Young of Grandcascapedia, Quebec.

She moved to Bathurst, New Brunswick upon her marriage in 1946 and lived there until the death of her husband Raymond in 1985. She is also predeceased by her sons Shannon (1953-2020) and Terry (1956).

Evelyn’s siblings William, Mary, Lorraine and Bert and sisters-in-law, Margaret and Eva also predeceased her.

She is survived by daughter Colleen, granddaughter Kelly Keenan (Thomas), great-grandsons Reagh and Spencer and several nieces and nephews and their families.

The family would like to thank the staff of Unit 1 at the QEH  for the care they provided during her final days.
