Surrounded by the love of her family and with an appreciation for a life well lived, the death of Florence Pearl MacDonald occurred on Sunday, June 8, 2025 at the Prince Edward Home at the age of 81 years. Florence is survived by her loving daughter, Susan Darte (Harvey) and her partner, Joseph MacKinnon.

Florence was born on May 19, 1944 to the late Gordon and Glennie Constable (nee MacKenzie).

She leaves behind her adored grandchildren, Emily Gariepy (Robert) and Stephanie Budd (Jeff): and great-grandchild, Dustin Gariepy.  

She is survived by sisters-in-law, Kay Constable, Marilyn MacLean, Marion MacDonald, and Inez MacDonald.

In addition to her parents, Florence was predeceased by her husband, Merlin E. MacDonald; brothers, Donnie Constable (Norma - deceased) and David Constable; and in-laws, Kaye McVittie (Keith - deceased), Nelson MacDonald, Blair (Dianne - deceased), Billy MacDonald, Joyce Irving (George - deceased), David MacDonald, and Alan MacLean.

Resting at Belvedere Funeral Home where a Celebration of Life will be held in the Belvedere Funeral Home Reception Centre on Wednesday, June 11th, when all are invited to drop-in anytime between 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. for a time of food and fellowship with the family.

In lieu of flowers and donations, Flo’s wishes were for you take a friend out and share memories of her.
