Florence Corinne Yard

It is with deep sadness that we announce the death of Florence Corinne Yard on Friday, May 29th, 2026 at the Garden Home in Charlottetown, at the age of 92 years. Florence was predeceased by her husband, Cyril Yard; parents, Lillian and Harry Percy; brothers, Willfred, Clyde and Ray; sisters, Viola, Elizabeth and Lillian.

She will be dearly missed by her loving son, Glenn (Gloria) and her adored granddaughter, Nicole.

Also leaving behind in Newfoundland her brothers, Austin (Evelyn) and Henry (Elsie); a number of nieces and nephews; and her special namesake, niece, Corinne Aylward, who consistently stayed in touch through the years and was cherished by Flo.

We would also like to thank the Garden Home for the care that they provided to Flo during her stay there.

Resting at Belvedere Funeral Home where visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 3 from 10 – 11a.m. with funeral to follow in the funeral home chapel. This service will be livestreamed via the following link Livestream. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Florence may be made to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Foundation or the PEI Humane Society.
