George (Sonney) Boucher Obituary

After a hard-fought battle with cancer, it is with great sadness we announce the passing of George "Sonney" Roy Boucher on February 14, 2024. Born in Campbellton, NB on April 21, 1937, he was the son of the late George and Helen (Doucet) Boucher.

He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Elda (Boswall); three daughters Donna Perry (Jimmy), Carolyn Vessey (Glen) and Shari; grandchildren Kelly Peters (Adam), Erin Smith (Jamie) and Chelsey Perry (Brandon), Dakota and Cheyenne Vessey (Jonathan); great grandchildren Madison James (Eli), Meleah Peters, Brayden (Kailyn) and Camdyn Smith and Piper and Makenzie Arsenault. He is also survived by his sister Frances Walsh. He is predeceased by his sisters Peggy, Shirley and Carol,  brother Lloyd and brother-in-law Joe Dunn.

Remembered by his sisters-in-law Elaine Dunn, Helen Rupay (JR), Daphne Brown (Gordon), brothers-in-law David, Brian, Shane (Ida), and Randy Boswall (Lucy); and fondly remembered by his many nieces and nephews.

Resting at Belvedere Funeral Home. No visitation as requested. Graveside service will take place in Sherwood Cemetery, on Saturday, May 4, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. 

Memorial Donations may be made to the Provincial Palliative Care Centre.
