Gerald Raymond Hannam

Gerald Raymond Hannam, husband of the late Judy (Newell) Hannam, passed peacefully on Tuesday, March 3, 2026 at the Beach Grove Home. Born in Halifax, NS on June 1, 1935, he was the son of the late Anthony and Rita Hannam. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his son Norman Newell.

He is survived by his sons Gerry Hannam Jr., Rodey Hannam (Bonnie) and Glen Hannam (Terena); grandchildren, great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

Gerry served in the Military serving overseas, peacekeeping in Korea and Germany. After retiring from the military, he worked for Department of Transportation and as commissioner. He was a jack of all trades and was heavily involved with darts.

In keeping with his wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service. A graveside service will take place in the RC Cemetery, Charlottetown, in the spring.

Donations in his memory may be made to the Last Post Fund or to a charity of choice.
