Gloria Catherine (Herrell) Batchilder

The death occurred peacefully at the Beach Grove Home on Friday, April 14, 2023 of Gloria Batchilder, age 86 years. She is survived by her children, Terry (Debra), Deanna, and Tracey (Hans); grandchildren, Joshua, Christopher, Tyler, and Emilee; four great- grandchildren; her two sisters, Velda and Nora; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Gloria was predeceased by her husband, Gerald; parents, Cornelius and Margaret Herrell; son, Thane (Debbie); son-in-law, Grant; and siblings, Vernon, Maynard, Leo, Clifford, Annie, Verda, and Eileen. Resting at Belvedere Funeral Home for visitation on Wednesday, April 19 from 4-8 p.m. Prior to the visitation, the CWL will be having a prayer service. Funeral mass to be held at St. Pius X Roman Catholic Church on Thursday, April 20 at 10:30 a.m. Interment to follow in the Roman Catholic Cemetery. The family would like to extend heartfelt gratitude to all the staff at the Beach Grove Home that provided care with such empathy and dignity to our mother. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to the Alzheimer Society of PEI.
