It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Hannah Lowleen Coles on September 8th, 2024 at the age of 41.
Born May 5, 1983 in Charlottetown, PEI to proud parents Douglas and Lowleen. Hannah will be forever remembered for her infectious smile, indelible sense of humour, deep intelligence and courageous disposition.
Hannah long understood the value of four legged companions and their unflappable loyalty, that a fantastic meal can make or break the day, that a well-placed joke should never go to waste, and that it only takes one hug to turn the tides.
To her countless friends and family who have shared in the ups and downs over the years, be it side splitting laughs or compassionate counsel, we extend our deepest gratitude and will go forward collectively taking joy in these memories.
Hannah is survived by parents Douglas and Lowleen (Jim Read), siblings Benjamin (Rachael) and Elliott (Beth) and nephews Edward and Trent. Hannah was predeceased by her grandparents Lowell and Doreen Huestis of Summerside, as well as Laurie and Sally Coles of Summerside.
A private ceremony will follow for family and friends, and we encourage all to celebrate Hannah’s life in the coming weeks in their own meaningful way. In honour of Hannah and in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Lacey House and are greatly appreciated.
