Heather Lynn Horne

It is with heavy hearts the family of Heather Lynn (MacNeill) Horne, wife of Kevin Horne, announces her peaceful passing on September 12, 2024, which occurred at her home, surrounded by her loving family, after a courageous brief illness. Born in Scarbough, ON April 17, 1972, she is the daughter of Linda (MacArthur) MacNeill and the late Ernest Elmer MacNeill.

In addition to her husband and mother she is survived by her children Spencer Horne, Ashley Hume, Alexis Gillis (Cameron) and Riley Hume (Jordan MacKinnon); her sisters Kim Dudley (Glenn); Judy Wells (Scott); and Jodi Jones (Roy) as well as her fur babies Oddie, Gracie, Toby and Winston; her sister and brother in laws, aunts, uncles, and cousins, nieces and nephews.

Heather a devoted daughter, mother, wife, sister, aunt and friend will be dearly missed. She worked as an RN, Volunteer Fire Fighter, Instructor and Deputy Chief of the Fire School. Her bright spirit will live on in everyone she touched.

Resting at Belvedere Funeral Home, with visitation on September 15 from 4-7 p.m.
