Hugh Milloy Neil

It is with deep love and sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Hugh Milloy Neil at his home on February 8, 2026 at the age of 73 years. Hugh was born on January 28, 1953 to the late Susan Milloy and Robert Neil.

Hugh will be dearly missed by his loving children, Chris (Joanne) Neil, Carolyn Neil (Leighton Thomas), and Cheryl (Jeff) Mellish. He is survived by his former wife, Valerie Neil, whom remained a close friend throughout his life.  

He leaves behind his adored grandchildren, Jack Standing, and Luke, Emma, and Hugh Mellish.

Hugh is survived by his sisters, Lizann Star, Maureen Quinn, and Jean Bolton.

In addition to his parents, Hugh was predeceased by his sister, Roberta Byrne and his brother, James Neil.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Belvedere Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Thursday, February 12th at 10:30 AM.
