It is with deep sorrow, but also with the peace and hope we have in Christ, that we share that Isabella Bastardo-Jiménez has gone to be in the presence of the Lord. She passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of her family at the IWK in Halifax, Nova Scotia on Monday, May 25, 2026 at the age of 13 years.
Isabella was born on November 14, 2012 in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, to her loving parents, Jesus Bastardo & Alexandra Jiménez. She will be dearly missed by her siblings, Jesus Eduardo, Alexa, Elianny, Katherine & Oliver Bastardo Jiménez. She is survived by her grandparents, Gernaro Jiménez and Teodora Tejada.
Resting at Belvedere Funeral Home where a visitation will be held on Monday, June 1 from 1-3 p.m. followed by a funeral service in the chapel at 3 p.m. Interment will take place in Sherwood Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Isabella may be made to the IWK Foundation.
