It is with heavy hearts, the family of James “Jimmy” David Fisher announce his peaceful passing which occurred on Friday, July 5, 2024. Born in Dorchester, Massachusetts on September 9, 1941, he was the son of the late Walter and Helen (MacDonald) Fisher.
He is survived by his wife Clara (Fisher) and children Julie (Brian) Denver, James (Lorraine) Fisher and Jon (Erin) Fisher. Cherished grandchildren Christopher (Marisa), Jack, Alec, Niall, Niamh, Grace and Christian. Also his great grandchildren Patrick and Sophia. Also survived by his step children Natalie (Mark) MacPhail, Aundrea (Brian) Lewis, Janine (Andrew) Pulsifer and step grand children Owen, Kye, Elan, Adelaide and Isla. His siblings Ed Fisher (Elizabeth), Ellie MacDonald (Sandy), and Frankie Fisher (Margaret); and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents he was predeceased by his late wife, Claire Fisher, his sister Mary Muise and grandson, Patrick Denver.
Resting at Belvedere Funeral Home, where his wake will take place on Tuesday, July 9th, 2024 from 4-7pm. A funeral service will take place on Wednesday, July 10th at 10 a.m. at St Francis de Sales, Little Pond. Reception to follow at Little Pond community center.
