James Charles Gallant

Surrounded by the love of his family and with an appreciation for a life well lived, the death of James Charles Gallant occurred on Friday, October 24, 2025 at the Whisperwood Villa in Charlottetown at the age of 79 years. James was predeceased by his wife, Diane (nee Gauthier) and son, Stephen.

James was born on March 5, 1946 to the late Charles and Emmeline Gallant.

James will be dearly missed by his son, James (Sheila) and his grandchildren Jorden and Madeline.

He is survived by his sisters, Grace Chaloner, Stella Brothers, and Mary Alice MacDonald.

James was predeceased by his brothers, Leonard, Colin, Donald and Floyd and sister, Etta.

There will be no visitation or funeral service by personal request. A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date.
