Jarvis Lloyd Mill

It is with heavy hearts the family of Jarvis Lloyd Mill, loving husband of Susan Marie (Skikiewich) Mill, announces his peaceful passing which occurred on Friday, May 31, 2024, at the Provincial Palliative Care Centre. Born in Charlottetown, PE on December 7, 1946, he was the son of the late George Jarvis and Barbara “Tiny” (Reeves) Mill. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his sister Georgie Affleck.

In addition to his wife Susan of 57 years, he is survived by his children Tina Mill (Dave Stewart), Lana Mill (Aubrey Farrar) and Kent Mill (Denise Gallant), cherished grandchildren Paige Bordage (Andrew) and Nathan LeClair (Hannah Minard); brother Erwin Mill (Marlene Doull); sister Barb Jay (Irwin); and several nieces and nephews.

Jarvis worked for the public schools as a custodian for many years. He was also a firefighter in Sherwood-Parkdale and retired from North River Fire Department. He was a Cub Leader with West Royalty Scouting; he enjoyed drawing and woodworking and spending time with his family.

Resting at Belvedere Funeral Home, with visitation on Monday, June 3 from 4-7 p.m. His funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 4 at 10:30 a.m. from Belvedere Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
