Jerome Gerald O'Grady

It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Jerome “Jerry” Gerald O’Grady, at the QEH on May 9, 2024. Jerry was born in Gander NFLD on June 1st, 1951. His family later moved to Harbour Grace, NFLD where he met the love of his life Louise (Lynch) O’Grady.

Jerry and Louise and their 3 boys moved to PEI in 1982 and eventually settled in Brookfield. Jerry leaves to mourn his wife Louise (Lynch) O’Grady, his sons Jerome “Jerry” O’Grady (Marci White), Shawn O’Grady (Krystle), Tommy O’Grady (Jamie-Lee MacKay); grandchildren MacKenzie West, Bailey and Brandon O’Grady, Jayden O’Grady and Jazlyn O’Grady. Jerry also leaves to mourn his siblings Greg O’Grady (Bruce), Alice (Cyril) Hawe, and Dennis (Stella) O’Grady.  He is predeceased by his parents Thomas “Tom” and Alice O’Grady, and his brothers Michael “Mike” O’Grady (Marion), Thomas “Tom” O’Grady (Anne-deceased), and Gerard O’Grady (Bonnie).  He also leaves to mourn many nieces and nephews.

Resting at Belvedere Funeral Home, where there will be visiting hours from 5:00-8:00 P.M. on Friday May 10th, 2024, and a funeral to follow on Saturday at 2:00 P.M. in the funeral home chapel. To view his funeral service please click on the following link Link

The family would like to thank the staff of Unit 8 at the QEH for the compassionate care given to Jerry and his family during his stay.
