Joan Irene (Strang) MacEachern

The death occurred at Prince Edward Home, Charlottetown on Sunday, July 6, 2025, of Joan Irene (Strang) MacEachern, formerly of Rice Point, age 93 years.

Beloved wife of the late W. Harvey MacEachern and dear mother of Harvey Lea (Sandra), Heather Irene (dec. in infancy), Randall Strang (dec.), and Enid Grace (Royden Stetson). Loving grandmother “Meme” to Michelle MacEachern, Jason MacEachern (Erin), Shawn MacEachern (Andrea), Ryan Stetson (Christie), Tobin Stetson (Ellen), Colin Stetson (Hannah) and Graeme Stetson (Jorie). Remembered by great grandchildren Ethan, Jackson, Quinn and Levi MacEachern, Eloise, Henry, Gus, Lou, Elsie, Mara and Mack Stetson; sisters-in-law Sylvia MacEachern, Morey MacEachern, and Hazel Strang; brother-in-law Charles Bayne and many nieces and nephews.  

Predeceased by her parents Charles Tupper Strang and Irene (Smith) Strang; sisters Charlotte, Grace, Miriam, brother Edgar, sisters-in-law Isabel Gorveatt and Rae Burdett, and brothers-in-law Amos Gorveatt, Murchison MacEachern and Douglas MacEachern.

Resting at Belvedere Funeral Home from where her funeral service will be held on Friday, July 11, 2025, at 11 a.m. with visitation one hour prior. Interment will take place in Canoe Cove Presbyterian Church Cemetery. If so desired, memorial donations may be made to the Canoe Cove Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
