Joanne Patricia Coles

Joanne Patricia Coles (Guinchard), born March 17, 1964 in Corner Brook, NFLD passed peacefully surrounded by her family at Prince County Hospital in Summerside, PE May 27, 2026.

 She is survived by her children and their spouses James Doucette and Julie Bodkin, Kyle Doucette and Lysanne Fortin, and Chelsey and Will Beattie. Joanne is predeceased by their father James Doucette. She leaves behind her grandchildren: AaLiyah, Jacob, Kaitlyn, Conner, Alice, and Charlie, and great-grandchildren Odin and Amara. Joanne loved her partner, Stephen Hugh Dimond, as they were together for the last 5-6 years and were engaged.

Joanne was a superb chef of many restaurants in PEI and became an extremely talented hairdresser in recent years opening her own salon, Harbourview Salon, which Joanne and Stephen put together on the upper floor of their detached garage in Stanley Bridge.

Joanne was an extremely talented soul, creating everything from cards to jewelry to numerous household decorations for her loved ones. Joanne’s true passion in life was spending time near and far with her children and their families and her partner

Arrangements have been entrusted to Belvedere Funeral Home. A private burial will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating in Joanne’s honour to the PEI Human Society.
