John Angus MacPhail, husband of Eleanor (Hayes) MacPhail, passed away peacefully with his family at his side, on Thursday, July 25, 2024, at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital. Born in Charlottetown, PE on October 13, 1943, he was the son of the late Jack and Rotha (MacFarlane) MacPhail. He is also predeceased by his brother Lesley MacPhail (Betty) and brother-in-law Jack Hayes (Florence).
In addition to his wife Eleanor of 60 years, he is survived by his daughter Christine Richards (Dean); grandchildren Lisa MacPherson (Corey) and Kyle Richards; great grandchildren Taylor and Ava MacPherson; siblings Eva Frizzell (Ralph dec.), Christine Walaweno (Walt dec.) and Graham MacPhail (Laura); sisters-in-law Cokie Hayes (Eugene dec.), Dianne Cudmore (Bill), Helen Caron (Normand), Janet Kinney (Bill dec.) and Joan LaFramboise (Renee); many nieces and nephews.
Resting at Belvedere Funeral Home. Private family services to be held.
