John Ivan (Jack) Trainor

It is with great sadness that the family of John “Jack” Ivan Trainor announces his passing on March 6th, 2025 at the age of 71 years. 

Jack was born on June 8th, 1953 in Charlottetown to the late James Ivan and Joan (nee McCarey) Trainor. 

Jack is survived by his siblings, Jim (Mary Conway), Paul (Karen–deceased) (Judy-deceased), Tom (Rhonda–deceased), Janet Trainor (Paul Bordage), Joan (Wayne) Ramsay, and Nancy (Ken) MacKenzie. 

He will be fondly remembered by his nieces and nephews, Sarah Smith (Aaron), Stephen Trainor (Karen), Jeff Trainor (Keely), Jason Ramsay, Alana Ramsay (Denes), Dillon, Keira MacKenzie (Connor), and Erin Pope (Gage). 

Care has been entrusted to Belvedere Funeral Home. There will be no visitation or funeral service at personal request. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.  

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Jack may be made to Queen Elizabeth Hospital Foundation.
