John (Tom) Thomas Butler

With heavy hearts the family of John Thomas “Tom” Butler, husband of Janie (Wynne) Butler, announces his passing which occurred on Friday, April 11, 2025. Born in Charlottetown, PE on September 16, 1948, he was the son of the late Frank and Jean (MacIsaac) Butler.

In addition to his loving wife of 41 years, Janie, he is survived by his sons Neale Butler (Kaley) and Colin Butler (Monica); cherished grandchildren Madelyn, Lydia and Halston; siblings Frank Butler (Rosemary, dec.), Mike Butler (Marie), Pat Power (Clarence) and Ann McKenna (David, dec.); and many nieces and nephews.

Resting at Belvedere Funeral Home, where his funeral service will be held on Wednesday, April 23, 2025, at 11 a.m.  Interment will take place in the Peoples Cemetery. Donations in memory of Tom may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
