Jordon Lyndon Hall Obituary

It is with tremendous sadness that we announce the passing of Jordon Lyndon Hall in Kingston, Prince Edward Island on August 8, 2025, at the age of 44 years.

Jordon was born on February 1, 1981, to Leona and David Hall.

He was predeceased by his father David Hall, grandparents John and Irene Hall and Joe and Victoria Exner.

Jordon was born and raised in British Columbia, with strong family roots in Melville Saskatchewan.  He moved to Alberta after high school to pursue a career helping others.

In October of 2007 Jordon joined the Fort McMurray Fire Department as a Firefighter/PCP and worked his way up to a Senior Firefighter/Acting Captain. His dedication to serving his community was something he took great pride in.  He volunteered for many charities initiatives and was very proud to represent FMFD in the 2023 and 2025 World Police and Fire games in Winnipeg and Alabama.

He loved to stay active by working out at the gym, snowboarding with his friends, gardening, and swimming.

Jordon was a strong advocate for mental health.  He believed it was just as important to take care of his mind and emotions, as it was to take care of his physical health.  He encouraged others to find what brought them peace, calmness and stability.  For Jordon this was meditation, therapy, being in nature, and dreaming about his future retirement on Prince Edward Island.  He had big dreams of creating a wellness retreat center for first responders and their families.

Jordon will always be remembered for his positivity, laughter, and encouragement of others to be the best they can be. If Jordon were with us today, he would still be saying “Find the happy and positive energy around you”.

He leaves behind his beloved wife Sherry MacEachern, Mother Leona Hall, parents-in-law Barb and Brian Craig, Doug and Isabell MacEachern, siblings-in-law Tammy and Rick Shaw, Nancy and Steffen Hood, niece and nephews Aiden Shaw, Olivia Shaw, Levi Hood, many cousins, and countless friends from around the world.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Belvedere Funeral Home in Charlottetown, PEI.

A Celebration of Jordon’s Life will be held at Shell Place in Fort McMurray, Alberta on August 28th at 2:00pm.

Another celebration will take place at Rustic Acres Resort, south of Killaly Saskatchewan on September 10th at 2:00pm.

A memorial fund is being created in Jordon’s name to support mental health initiatives for the Fort McMurray Fire Department members.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent via e-transfer to treasurer@fmfirefighters2494.com (password: fmfd2494)
