The death of Judy (Dowling) O’Brien occurred peacefully at the Beach Grove Nursing Home in Charlottetown, PEI on June 27, 2024 at the age of 81 years.

She was the daughter of the late Bill and Lena Dowling and is survived by her husband Dennis and their children, Shelly and Wade O’Brien and was predeceased by her son Trevor.  She is also survived by her daughters-in-law Kim, Mary Ellen and Myles O’Brien.  She is also survived by her grandchildren, Kayla, Khloe, Grace, Aaden, Kendra and Dawson and her siblings Brenda Jones (Pat), Carole Dowling, Billy Dowling (Diane) and Michael Dowling (Carol) and by numerous nieces and nephews.

Resting at Belvedere Funeral Home where visitation will take place on Wednesday July 3rd from 4:00-7:00 P.M. Judy’s funeral service will be held at St Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Cornwall on Thursday July 4th at 10:00 A.M. with a reception to follow downstairs.

 Judy received wonderful care from all the staff at Beach Grove over the 4 years she was in residence. Over the years Judy could be found in her flower gardens, making crafts, playing bridge and always being available to help others. She will be sadly missed.
