It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Judy Ann Trainor on October 10, 2024, at the age of 66. Born on July 29, 1958, chosen daughter of Pearle and Linus Trainor, birth daughter of Anastasia Trainor. Judy lived a life of kindness, passion, and deep love for her family and friends. She was predeceased by her beloved father, Linus, whose legacy she carried forward with grace and strength.
Judy was the cherished mother of Coady McGough (Lynse) and Rachelle Morison (Ian), who were the lights of her life. She was a proud and devoted "Mimi" to her granddaughter, Willow-Pearl Carolyn Morison, her "ray of sunshine" who brought boundless joy to her heart.
As a nurse, Judy dedicated her life to caring for others, touching the lives of countless people with her compassion and expertise. Her patients and colleagues alike were uplifted by her presence, her gentle touch, and her beautiful, contagious smile that brightened even the darkest days.
Beyond her career, Judy’s love for life was evident in her passions. A true rock and roll enthusiast, she found joy in music that spoke to her soul and loved nothing more than cruising down the road in her beloved 1991 Camaro, a symbol of her free spirit and zest for adventure.
Judy leaves behind her loving mother, Pearle, and her dear sister, Claire Trainor, both of whom shared a lifetime of memories and deep bonds. She will be remembered not only for her endless love and generosity but also for her warmth, laughter, and the many ways she made the world a better place.
In addition to the family she grew up with, Judy was blessed with what she fondly called the "sibling surprise" of a lifetime. Adopted as a baby, Judy always felt an immense love from her parents, Pearle and Linus, and her sister Claire. However, she often wondered about her origins. Five years ago, she embarked on a journey of discovery and found her biological family. To her joy, this reunion brought her five sisters and two brothers, along with countless nieces, nephews, and cousins. Judy was delighted to learn that they not only shared Trainor roots but also a family-wide love for red hair. She embraced these newfound relationships with open arms, and in this part of her heart, she leaves behind her brothers Larry Hachey (Donna) and Jimmy Hachey (Margaret). Sisters Liz Goldston (Norean), Mary Hachey, Rose Braman, Linda Hachey (Peter), Lucille Buckley (Ron) whose connection to Judy was an unexpected gift that enriched her life in ways she never imagined.
Her family and friends will forever carry her in their hearts, treasuring the legacy of love she leaves behind. Rest in peace, Judy, knowing that you have touched so many lives with your kindness, and your spirit will continue to shine through those you loved most.
