June K. Lund

The death of June K. Lund occurred October 13, 2025, at the Saint John Regional Hospital, Saint John, New Brunswick, following a brief illness.

Born on June 14, 1934, in White Sands, Prince Edward Island, she was the daughter of Margaretta (Marjorie) (Brehaut) and William Derby. June was married to the late Erroll Lund with whom she shared a devoted partnership with, beginning in 1955.

She was predeceased by her husband, parents, her sister Dorothy (late Jack) Tamblyn, and her brothers Morris (late Connie), Ralph and William (Bill) Derby, as well as half-siblings James, Rebecca, Evelyn, Miriam, Isabel and Muriel.

June is survived by her children Brian (Jacqueline) Lund and Nelda Lund (Robert McFadden); her grandchildren Ryan and Galen McFadden, Ethan and Emma Lund, and Thea Roland; and her great-grandson Beau Roland.

In keeping with June’s wishes there will be no visitation. A private family interment will take place at a later date.
