Katherine Pearle Murray

It is with deep sadness that we announce the death of Katherine Pearle Murray which occurred on Wednesday, June 17, 2026, at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital at the age of 93. Katherine was the daughter of the late Gordon and Pearle (nee MacDonald) MacLeod. Katherine was predeceased by her late husband Lorne Murray.

She will be dearly missed by her loving children Janice (Richard) Thibault, Wade (Laura Jean) Murray, and Vickey (Mark) Jay.

She leaves behind her much-loved grandchildren Danielle, Ashton (Shane), Jordan (Amy), Luke, Maggie Jean (Gavin) and great- grandchildren, Sutton, Scottie Jean, and Lenna. She will also be remembered by her nieces and nephews. 

Katherine is survived by her sister-in-law, Isabel MacLeod.

Along with her husband & parents Katherine is predeceased by her brothers Billie (Elizabeth), Lincoln, and her sisters Hope (Leith) Easter, Sara (William) Larter. Her brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Stanley (Elsie) Murray, Alfred (Shirley) Murray, Blythe (Phyllis) Murray, Hilda (Raymond) Sellick, Margaret (Eric) Hurry, Brad (Isabel) Murray, Archibald (Beverly) Murray, Dorthy Ramsey, Alex (Joyce) Murray, Susie (Lorne) Wood, Edward (Norma) Murray and Rena (Bobby) MacKay.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Belvedere Funeral Home where a visitation will be held on Saturday, June 20th from 10 till 11 a.m., with a funeral service to follow in the chapel.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke or the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Foundation.

Interment in the Brackley Beach Cemetery.

The family would like to give thanks to Home Care, and the staff of Unit 3 at the QEH for the compassionate care received.
