Katherine (Kathy) Jean MacPhail

We are saddened to announce the passing of Katherine (Kathy) Jean MacPhail which occurred on April 27, 2024, at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital at the age of 80.   She was the beloved wife of the late Willard MacPhail and daughter of the late Janette MacLeod.

Kathy is lovingly remembered by her children, Susan MacPhail-Beaton (Dwayne), Kevin MacPhail (Lenae), and Sarah MacPhail (Kevin Quigley).  She will also be greatly missed by her grandchildren, Olivia & Corbin Beaton, Sophia & Ian MacPhail, Arabella & Holly LeClair, and Cassidy & Gabe Quigley.

Kathy is survived by her dear sister-in-law, Wilma Pater (Gerrit – deceased); and her brothers-in-law, Howard MacPhail (Jean – deceased) and Raymond Large (Elaine- deceased): as well as her many nieces and nephews.  

Resting at Belvedere Funeral Home, where visitation will take place on Monday, May 6th from 1:30-3:00 p.m., followed by a funeral service in the funeral home chapel at 3:00 p.m.  A reception will occur following the ceremony in the funeral home reception center.
