On January 9th, 2025, Keith Kinley MacDougall passed peacefully into his eternal home, surrounded by his family. Keith lived 101 years and shared a wonderful life with his wife, partner in faith, and best friend, Doris (Mac Pherson). He served in WWII for peace across Europe. Being a veteran was a source of tremendous pride for Keith and his family.
He is survived by his wife of 78 years, Doris, and their three children: Paulette (Terry Mac Kenna), Kevin (Lorraine Sharpe), and Colleen (Yvon Sevigny).
Keith and Doris are also gifted with eight grandchildren: Richelle (Mike), Andrew (Jill), Rhonda (Richard), Donnie (deceased), Linda (Stephen), Lorraine (from Zimbabwe), Martin, and Sandra. Fourteen great-grandchildren have been able to claim Keith as their "Pops", as "Grandpa": Alex, Cameron, Madelyn, Olivia, Corey, Shyla, Devon, Riley, Azor, Ava, Mollyn (from Zimbabwe), Gabriel, Keven, and Marie-Jeanne. The beauty of reaching 101 years is to experience the blessing of two great-great-grandchildren, Rori and Beau; and a long time relationship with a special friend, Jane McLaine.
Keith's passion for his family and friends touched all who knew him. He had a smile, a pearl of wisdom, and a piece of history to share with each one.
Our family genuinely appreciated the compassionate and loving care provided by the staff of Whisperwood Villa to our father.
Visitation is from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. on January 21st at Belvedere Funeral Home. The service will follow in the chapel at 2:00 p.m. For those unable to attend in person a live stream of the service will be available by following this link: LiveStream
