On May 5th, 2026 at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Kenneth “Kenny” George Cahill passed away peacefully at age 78.
Kenny was born on December 29, 1947 in Kingston, Prince Edward Island to George and Bernadette (Carragher) Cahill who predeceased him. He is also predeceased by his brothers Paul and brothers-in-law Barry Murphy and Rick Lovelace.
He is survived by his sisters Linda (Rick) Lovelace, Mary (Barry) Murphy and Theresa (Brian) Donahue as well as his sisters-in-law Jean (Paul) Cahill, special nephews, Allison and Kyle Cahill and his many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
Kenny will be remembered for his unwavering nature, devotion to his family and the love he held for his farm. No words can express the hole he leaves in our lives.
Resting at the Belvedere Funeral Home for a private visitation on Monday, May 11. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Anne’s Church in Emyvale on Tuesday May 12 at 10 am, followed by interment in the church cemetery. A Reception will follow at the Community Hall.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Kenny may be made to St. Anne’s Church, the Make-a-Wish Foundation or Diabetes Canada.
